Helpful Loading Guidance
While the EcoLawn 250S hopper has room for up to 11 cubic feet of material, denser materials like sand are much heavier than compost or soil blends. For best performance and smooth operation, sand should be loaded to approximately 5 cubic feet per load. This allows the spreader to operate efficiently while providing consistent material flow and even distribution. Compost and lighter blends can be loaded in larger volumes due to their lower density
